Now I have re-learn how to do things... (Okay, may that's seconds of learning time, but hey, those are my seconds!)
And, my preferences for E-Mail seem to have defaulted to SPAM mode. Had to go in and disable more than a dozen E-Mail tick boxes.
This is why I hate software upgrades. It's one thing to add a feature that you may or may not use, but to change the user interface? That's a serious crime!

In all seriousness, could we have an option to use the old theme(s)?

Most changes are to XenForo 2's default layout. The old XenForo 1 themes were fairly lightly customized, using said default layout as a base, so it would be necessary to recreate XenForo 1 in version 2 to get the old layout back.

That's odd, I haven't noticed anything here.

@Arwen now that you mention it I don't remember getting an email notification when JoshDW19 posted in the search broken topic..... though that could just be hotmail being annoying again.

To be fair, I did not receive any SPAM E-Mails. It's just when I went in my preferences to see if I could select the old theme, I found that all the check boxes for E-Mail notifications were re-enabled. So, no real problem. I simpled un-checked them all.

However, today I went to read some of the sub-forums and selected a few new posts to read. Then tried to mark the rest as read. Except that I seem to have selected "Mark Forums Read", (note the "s" in "Forums"). So it marked all posts read. A bit confusing, and annoying... Oh well.

Yeah they separated the options. The "mark this forum as read" (singular) option is next to the options near the top right.
