No. There is no longer any support for jails/plugins in FreeNAS 10.

Not yet. There currently isn't an upgrade path from 9.10 to 10. This however, should change nearer the official release date for FreeNAS 10.

I've heard that Jails will be converted to Bhyve VMs (although, not exactly clear how and if this is possible) when the upgrade happens. Until there, stay with 9.10.

The only thing I've heard is copying the jails into a FreeBSD VM. Can't really think of any other possibilities for an automated process, but some people will probably want to migrate some of their applications to straight Linux (where support is presumably better) or Docker equivalents.
