Windows will not show SMB share no matter what I do

Hiya folks,

I'm a noob to home server stuff, this is my first toe dipping as it were.

First my system: Dell optilex, Intel i5 2400, 8GB RAM
The windows computer is running windows 10.

The problem: I've got the system set up and purring, and now when I though I was on the home stretch, my final lap, windows will not pick up my share. I followed this guide to a T Plus watching a few other tutorials changing settings here and there. Command prompt picks up on the signal saying:

Additionally on the system I keep getting this message (although I don't no if it's related):

I've sifted through forum posts, youtube videos, reddit threads etc with similar issues.
I've changed network settings, gpedit.msc, network mapping, and other stuff that has jumbled up in my brain into one big ball of sadness and failure/waste of the past 10 hours.

I would appreciate greatly any help and support anyone can offer,

Have you tried opening the server by typing its IP address in File Explorer in the following format: "\\<ip of server>\share"?

I have yes, and no joy. Additionally I tried on an old laptop and didn't see anything there either

It was related to networking hardware. Are you able to connect by IP address in File Explorer?
