I am finally at a stage where I am populating and expanding my storage pool. Since the drives I am getting (2 different brands as there will be 2 distinct pool - one for Prod, one for backup), and still need to ZFS in general, can anyone provide some simple syntax / command I can run from the TN shell to

1. exercise the drive on its own (read / write to a single drive) - set baseline performance based on vendor / model
2. exercise the pool /dev (read / write to a share from the pool) - set baseline performance based on my pool/vdev configuration

Not an expert with TN OS space, so any feedback, not matter how simple would be appreciated
