wen ntpd change, sabnzbd stops

hai,
i have a problem.
wen sabnzbd is running(downloading) and the ntpd change to 2001, sabnzbd stops.
i get a code as "freenas ntpd(1828):kernel time sync status change 2001".
I have to reboot freenas to get sabnzbd running again.
Is there a solution for this problem.
must i stop ntpd and can it be done.

i'm using freenas 8.3.0 and i'm not intending to upgrade to a newer version, if possible.

I've seen a couple of people note that ntpd seems to interfere with plugins. Can you create a bug report at bugs.freenas.org with the details and post the issue number here?

Please keep in mind that 8.x has been discontinued. While you are welcometo put a ticket in you should also note that any fix will only be implemented in the next release after your ticket is closed. In your case, that will mean upgrading to 9.x(which you said you don't plan to do). Just letting you know what to expect.

Also with 9.x the jails were rewritten. It is very possible that it will be requested that you try 9.x before they investigate the issue as 8.x is no longer supported.

hai,

I have create a new sup dir. in the root of the downloads dir that was made earlier and everything is running good.
now a have no error of permissions change/ acces denied in sabnzbd wen there is a ntpd /time change.
Because there are no errors anymore, i can't post a bug report.
