I set up a small server for personal use... started playing and enjoying it.
it is based on an Asus mATX card (B250 something) which has an onboard ethernet port, based on Realtek I think. I gave it a fixed IPv4 adress.
Transfering few TB, I noted that, quite frequently, the card, hence the nas, is disconnected from network.
Moreover, looking at Freenas UI, I cannot see any information about the link (except the menu).
New UI shows a moving bar but bandwidth, legacy UI reports correct bitrate (average 300mbps) bbut no further info nor data about the NIC.
Should I use a dediceted NIC, kind of Intel based... ?
