I wasn't really sure where to put this, so I post this here.

Whenever I access my FreeNAS shares from my Hackintosh machine (OS X 10.9.1) the server hangs or spontaneously reboots after a few minutes. This happens even sooner when attempting to write files to the shares. No matter if I use CIFS or AFP shares.
The problem appears since I upgraded the server to FreeNAS 9.x, under 8.x it never happened.
Also, it never happens when accessing from Windows

Maybe not use a Hackintosh? Can anyone be surprised that when you used non-standard software/OSes that things don't work like they do normally? ;)

How much RAM? What driver for the NIC (from ifconfig)? Which version of FreeNAS did you upgrade to?
