Unable to see new files/folders on OS X 10.9 after update to 9.10.1

I don't know if this is related to the update, but it wasn't happening before.

If I create a file or folder in an application on my FreeNAS, I can't then see it in the Finder without disconnecting and re-connecting. If I try to create a folder with the same name in the Finder, it tells me that the folder already exists, but it doesn't show it.

UPDATE: Operator error (as usual) transposed letters in folder name, please delete this thread, sorry.

System specs and specific FreeNAS version? (9.10.1/-U1/-U2)

Also, unless you want us to throw stuff at the wall to see what sticks, you need to tell us how you're sharing this stuff.
