I'm trying to get Syncrify setup in a jail, and I'm having the following networking issues:

I install openjdk7 and then the http://synametrics.com/files/Syncrify/SyncrifyOther.tar.gz and untar and run run.sh using bash as the shell.

Syncrify then gets put on a random port, no matter what the config files say.The log says it's starting the correct port of 5800,
but netstat -a shows a completely different one. You can login to the syncrify server on that port.
If you stop and restart it, it gets another random port.

Is there some networking step I'm missing?

Has anyone gotten this to run under version 8?

I've installed it under PCBSD9.0, in the main os and in a jail, and it works correctly there, (But there is no network redirection on that jail, it shares the same IP address as the main os.)

Thanks.
Later,
