What are you using as a 10Gb switch?

Used enterprise gear can be had for much cheaper and will have much greater driver/OS support.

You don't need a switch for small setups as you can use PtP with DAC or fibre.

Otherwise please report back with support/stability/driver update frequency with your OSs of choice.

A T420-CR can be had for 40 from eBay, that is about one of the best card for FreeNAS

Amazon had a link to a cheaper version that, as it turns out, is sold by the chip vendor:

Locating a Linux driver download on their site was easy:

And a glance at the archive didn't show any binary blobs or the like. Only source code goodness. Nice find.
