Hi
Quick question. Can I just throw a 5-10$ VGA GPU from ebay - like an old ATI Radeon 9600 or a GeForce FX5200 - in my Truenas SCALE server for these rare "emergencies" or are these GPUs and their likes, too old to be supported?
I ask because I just got my hands on a Lenovo workstation that I will repurpose as an off-site TrueNAS SCALE backup server. However the CPU is good enough that I will put it in my main server and unfortunately the Lenovo doesn't have an iGPU so now I need a dirt cheep gfx card for initial install and in case I need to d0 some on-site "emergency" support.
