Hi,
we are currently searching for a cost effective SSD for our 3 Dell PowerEdge R720x that will provide our Kubernetes Cluster with sufficient and high performing Storage.
For that, i am currently struggling if we need Datacenter SSDs or if NAS SSDs would do the trick as well. For example, Seagate Nytro vs Ironwolf SSD's. The Price difference can be huge here in Germany, and budget is low after the acquisition of the R720x servers.
Any tips would be appreciated. What are you looking for when ordering Storage for such workload? TBW, MTBF, etc and in what order?
We currently dont know what workload could hit us, so we dont know how much TBW we could expect.
