SC847 - How do you move fans from backplane to motherboard

Hi!

I don't mean like, unplug the cable and plug it in.. I mean.. how on earth did you fish it through the tiny little cracks and holes? I originally thought remove fan assembly, route wires, reinstall fan assembly, but couldn't even find the screws to get that moved.

Tips? Hints?

I have the jbod version, but I assume it's the same. I just found where the fans were connected to the backplane and moved those wires. They were already on the "inside" part of the chassis, where the motherboard would be.

The problem I'm hitting is the space between the motherboard and the front of the fan panel is maybe 1/8 of an inch.. I'll get some pictures to illustrate

My bet is that you've not unleashed the motherboard tray and slid it backwards?
