RSync Task not running

Rsync task will run when clicking the "Run Now" button but never runs automatically (set to every 5 minutes). After reviewing https://doc.freenas.org/9.10/freenas_tasks.html and I have reviewed the /var/log/messages on both hosts with no errors. completely at a loss why this is not working.

I setup periodic snapshots this morning at 8am, I expected 2 hourly by now and have none?
could this be related? is cron used to manage these tasks?

Could be. Have you tried saving your config and doing a clean install?

that fixed the issues, not sure why cron was not running the install is only weeks old.
