If I want to clear a faulted drive to attempt a resilver, what is the correct way to clear the fault so that FreeNAS (9.10.2-U4) will allow me to resilver? Yes, I understand that it's possible that the drive will fault again. Do I have to use the zpool clear command in the CLI or is there a GUI way to do this?

https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?zpool(8)

zpool clear pool-name /dev/daX (Replacing X with the drive you'd like to clear.)

I do not believe there is a GUI command for this.

That doesn't seem to work. I had to use the gptid instead of the device. It accepted that, but all it did was reduce the error counters, the disk is still faulted and there's no obvious way to replace/resilver it in the GUI.

Never mind, after doing a zpool offline on the drive I was then able to resilver back onto it. The only point of concern is that the resilver completed instantly, which I did not expect. I'm going to have to run a scrub.
