Dear all,
I have a pool of backup (external USB3) disks. I want to run periodic replication tasks, however, I want the backup = destination pool to be imported before running the replication and have it exported again, afterwards. Is there a built-in way of achieving this; or do I have to create a dedicated cronjob script [1]?
If this is a self-service job: Is there a way to call a defined replication task from this wrapper script, so:
1: zfs import
2: execute replication as defined via GUI
3: zfs export
Thank you all for sharing your ideas!
Stefan
