Hello all,

I've got my FreeNAS primary machine working well, SSH with keys all set up, but when it attempts to replicate, I get an email with this error:

The system was unable to replicate snapshot Data to 192.168.1.217 ====================== cannot receive: specified fs (/mnt/Data) does not exist
warning: cannot send 'Data@auto-20111121.1125-2w': Broken pipe
warning: cannot send 'Data@auto-20111121.1140-2w': Broken pipe
warning: cannot send 'Data@auto-20111121.1155-2w': Broken pipe
warning: cannot send 'Data@auto-20111121.1210-2w': Broken pipe
warning: cannot send 'Data@auto-20111121.1225-2w': Broken pipe

and it goes on and on.

The odd thing is that I created the /mnt/Data volume on my second FreeNAS machine and even created the share identical to the "primary".

Any ideas on why I would get this? Thanks in advance everyone!

Thanks William! I found this out about an hour before your post and was about to post my solution, but you beat me to it. :) However, I found something odd in the documentation. Under http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Replication_Tasks under the "Creating The Replication Task" section seems to say differently for the remote zfs filesystem.

Or I could be way wrong. :) Either way, I'm up and running and my systems are replicating, thanks guys!

Can you please expand on this? I seem to be experiencing the same problem.

The system was unable to replicate snapshot iSCSI to 192.168.50.39
======================
cannot receive: specified fs (/mnt/iSCSI) does not exist
warning: cannot send 'iSCSI@manual-20111117': Broken pipe
internal error: Broken pipe
