Remove a single disk

I should add an "hotspare" to my zpool. I had two identical disk in my machine.
I added my hotspare thrue the gui (Manual setup and i marked 1 of my two disks)
When i check my zpool one of my disk has been added as an hotspare as it should but the other disk have been added to the zpool as a striped disk.

This is how it looks right now, i was able to remove the hotspare but not my striped disk?

Please tell me there is a solution to fix this without destroying the zpool?

You can't remove the disk that was added as a stripe without destroying your pool and rebuilding it.

To provide immediate protection, you could add an additional disk as a mirror on it. You can't do that via the GUI - you would need to do it from the CLI. Search the forum for instructions.
