Recover deleted data without Snapshot

Hey,

just mounted a directory as external storage in nextcloud on TrueNAS Scale.
Unfortunately the directory was completely deleted be that.
Even more unfortunately I have no Snapshot of that.
Is there any way to restore the data?

(I know that this is what snapshots are for and that I should have had one)

not without paying thousands of dollars. you deleted it without backups. its toast.

snapshots are not backups.

Are you sure the data is gone? Depends on what data you are missing. Is it possible you mounted it *over* the first mount? In that case you should see the first-mount files again after a unmount.
