I'm using 9.3 x64 and I'm trying to get my Brocade BR-1020 10GbE card working.

Looking at /var/log/messages
Code:
pcib2: <ACPI PCI-PCI bridge> irq 19 at device 3.0 on pci0
pcib2: <ACPI PCI bus> on pcib2
pcib2: <serial bus, Fibre Channel> at device 0.0 (no driver attached)
pcib2: <serial bus, Fibre Channel> at device 0.1 (no driver attached)
pcib2: <network, ethernet> at device 0.2 (no driver attached)
pcib2: <network, ethernet> at device 0.3 (no driver attached)

The output from pciconf shows it's there:
Code:
none2@pci0:2:0:0: class=0x0c0400 card=0x00141657 chip=0x00141657 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Brocade Communications Systems, Inc.'
device = '1010/1020/1007 10Gbps CNA'
class = serial bus
subclass = Fibre Channel
none3@pci0:2:0:1: class=0x0c0400 card=0x00141657 chip=0x00141657 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Brocade Communications Systems, Inc.'
device = '1010/1020/1007 10Gbps CNA'
class = serial bus
subclass = Fibre Channel
none4@pci0:2:0:2: class=0x020000 card=0x00151657 chip=0x00141657 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Brocade Communications Systems, Inc.'
device = '1010/1020/1007 10Gbps CNA'
class = network
subclass = ethernet
none5@pci0:2:0:3: class=0x020000 card=0x00151657 chip=0x00141657 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Brocade Communications Systems, Inc.'
device = '1010/1020/1007 10Gbps CNA'
class = network
subclass = ethernet

The card is the same as the QLogic BR-1020 (QLogic bought Brocade and rebranded their cards) which is in the supported list https://www.freebsd.org/releases/9.3R/hardware.html.

I have tried using the tunable isp_load="YES" but to still no avail.
Any ideas? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Keep researching and prove me wrong. I am occasionally wrong and don't mind it when I am. For your sake, I'd like to be.

You might be better off picking up one of these cards if you want 10GB Chelsio T420-CR , i tried with a Qlogic card and well, i got pretty much the same response(s) as you. The above card has been pretty well proven (by myself and some other users) i also got the SFP's that are made by Chelsio

Edited your post. You can type some text, highlight it, and then click the link button to provide the eBay link, so it works like the first link in your post. This is much preferable to forcing people to click-thru to figure out what you're talking about, since some of us have dozens of tabs open already. What you did with the second link is also fine, since I know it's a link to some SFP known to work.

Anyways, yeah, the Chelsio cards are well-liked, the Intel X520's too, though you're more likely to find a great deal on the Chelsio.

I had no problem with the second one, because it includes the information about what you're going to see leading up to the link. The big ugly link is still ugly, but ugly is fine... tabspew, however, only hurts you because some of us won't bother clicking through.
