Pool is not Healthy - Do I just replace the drive?

I'm just looking for a bit of help/advice on what to do in this situation:

Is it just a matter of finding which disk is faulty and replacing it?

Correct, you will want to locate and replace that faulty disk:

Replacing Disks

Provides disk replacement instructions that includes taking a failed disk offline and replacing a disk in an existing VDEV. It automatically triggers a pool resilver during the replacement process.

In that case, you've already created a bad situation and you really need to tell us exactly:

1. What you're trying to accomplish
2. What steps you took to get to this point
3. How much do you care about the data that's on there?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by what I'm trying to accomplish

At present the system is broken down into various shared folders (Photo backups, Games) and runs Plex

It was probably setup this way back in 2018ish

What way would you recommend the setup? What should I do about replacing the drive etc

I would like to lose the photos, but the rest I can live without and rebuild ( I still can access everything atm)

You've somehow created a data pool that consists (or consisted) of four drives in two mirrored pairs. At some point since the time it was created, one of those four drives was removed, whether because you deliberately removed it, because it failed, or for some other reason. If there are only three drives other than the boot device currently in your server, that means that the "some point" was some time in the past that perhaps you don't remember, which means your pool has been degraded for quite some time. You need to either:

• Find another 2 TB drive and put it online into your pool, replacing the drive that's missing; or
• Find a pair of 4 TB or larger drives, replace sda and sdb with them, and then remove the second mirror from your pool entirely.

I think I'll start with adding a 2tb drive. Thanks for the help, appreciate it
