I have a tvcard that is supported in linux is it possible to pass the pci slot in my server to a virtual box machine ?

Would help reduce my footprint by another box

PCI passthough only works on Linux hosts. VirtualBox on FreeBSD is a port and a lot of features, such as USB 2.0, passthrough, etc. do not work. Your systems also needs to support VT-d.
