I have a EVGA Z68 SLI motherboard. It has dual gigabit NICs.
http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/130-SB-E685.pdf
There are windows drivers on EVGA's website for it. (ftp://ftp.evga.com/Driver/setup_v11.45.1.3.zip)
Tried Freenas 8.04 (and the last stable 7 version), and when I tried to configure the network interfaces It wont get an IP from the DHCP.
I tried to set it static, but I cant get to it from other computers. I also tried to ping out from the freenas box, didnt work.

(I did install windows 7 on it before I tried Freenas so I could update the bios.)

Do I need some other driver?
Is there a way to install the driver thats meant for windows?

No, you cannot windows drivers.
See freebsd "supported hardware" for hardware that works.
If your mb chipsets won't work, then install a separate board with a supported NIC

NO, no, no..... you need the proper FreeBSD drivers only! Chances are if your adapter doesn't work with FreeNAS already, it's not a supported device unless it's recently been released or it's an uncommon device.
