I have a newly-purchased FreeNAS XL Mini+, purchased diskless, with 8x10tb Seagate Ironwolf drives (ST10000VN0004-1ZD101) set up with in a single raid-z2 pool. I deployed it on September 10 and it's been online and running continually for the past two weeks.
I am seeing infrequent, periodic errors in the kernel log, all of them looking like this:
This is not a common occurrence, I only see 34 times that it's happened in two weeks. Four different devices have had the issue. ada0 (10 times), ada1 (8 times), ada2 (3 times) and ada6 (13 times).
SMART scans all look happy and I haven't seen any evidence of any other problems on the server.
Is this something I should be concerned about? Any suggestions for things I should be doing? Thanks.
