Hello,
I stumbled upon this while trying to update a jail, and unsure if I am doing something wrong or if this is a bug.
Creating a new jail on FreeNAS 11.3-U5. My only choice for the jail release version is "11.4-RELEASE". I get this error:
Going into network properties I see the default mac prefix is set to "b42e99"
Do I need to be manually updating this when creating new jails using the same interface? In this case em0: eth01? Is the error trying to alert me I have already used this and can't reuse? If I look at other jails already created they have this same value.
