LDAP/kerberos service for SMB (TRUENAS) ?

Dear All,

Due the fact that samba dropped support for samba schema + LDAP I do research for a service out there.
Eg. Jumploud still just support samba schema" + LDAP but not Ldap/ Kerberos.....

Does anybody know about Jumpcloud plans on this and or know alternatives out there ?

Nobody is using or interested in Identity services for Truenas or Samba for Windows Clients and co. ?
Is there still just a Domain Controller as the only option out there ?
