Installing on an HP DL380 G10 Server

Hello,
I'm working on HP DL380 g10. There are two raid controller HPE p4808i and S100i . The customer want to connect 2 x ssd ( M.2 SSD ) to raid controller P408i. He wants them visible in raid P408i. In that case, should I buy an adapter from M.2 ssd to sata?

Or there is another way to make it visible and create an array in P408i?

Currently, 2 x sss are connected to S100i

The P408i controller is not suitable for use with FreeNAS. It isn't clear to me what the S100 is. If it is just an AHCI controller that also allows software RAID, it might work, but it might not.

Be aware that "it sees my drives" and "I made a pool" are not the way we measure "suitable for FreeNAS" (the article talks about this).

Unless my eyesight is bad it's at least a SATA M.2 so it probably would work. Just don't expect data to still be there when you plug it back in.
Running FN with RAID card could work, just don't expect it to get working again when it suddenly stops for no apparent reason.
