How to move existing FreeNAS installation over to XCP-ng virtualization

I run two FreeNAS on HP Microservers. After both USB-Bootsticks failed at once (switched to read-only) in one of the FreeNAS I was considering to replace the USB-Sticks with SSD's having seen that a 60 GB SSD is not much more than a 16 GB USB 3.0 stick...

Will I be able to passthrough the SAS disks connected to the Microservers AND upload the existing FreeNAS configuration after FreeNAS is virtalized? Can the virtualized FreeNAS import my existing pool or will I need the copy data to a new pool?

Thank you!

You seem to have missed a part of your story.
Replacing USBs with SSDs - yep, good idea. Just reinstall fresh on your SSD boot disk/pool and upload the backed-up config file, all done and you're back to where you were except on more reliable hardware.

But then you leap over to asking about virtualisation?
