How do I verify a UPS shutdown was coordinated with the UPS and was a clean shutdown?

• Intel Xeon E3-1270 v3
• Kingston 32GB (8GB x 4) ECC w/Hynix DRAM, 1333MHz, 1.5V - KVR1333D3E9SK2/16G
• (4) WD Red 2TB in RaidZ2
• Boot drive: Supermicro 16GB SATADOM - SSD-DM016-PHI

My system shutdown due to being on UPS power during a long power loss. How do I verify the shutdown was coordinated with the UPS and was a clean shutdown?

What UPS do you have? Mine will tell me via remote management when it 'kicks' on during a power outage.

Consumer CyberPower 1000PFCLCD. That only tells me if there was an event. I did a Google search and found a forum post here (didn't find it through a search on the forum, go figure).

Anyways...I was able to look through the /var/log/auth.log and saw that there was a commanded shutdown around the time of the power loss.
