How do I set up network printing via FreeNAS?

I have seen many posts asking about this topic but all are outdated. There is no discussion of print support in FreeNAS 8 except for the fact that it is planned to be added. Does anyone know anything about this? Are there already existing ways of using FreeNAS for printing? I'm looking to connect a USB printer and make it available to Windows Vista and Windows 7 machines, if it matters.

It's still not supported. The only method would to be install CUPS in the plugin jail.
