Help with Mirrored drive RMA replacement

I have a TrueNAS Scale I setup 11 months ago with a pair of WD Red Pro's in a Mirror.

One of the drives has been reporting errors for the past few weeks. I did a reboot when it went offline and it has thrown a few errors since.

Just got off the "Chat" with WD and they want me to send them the drive as part of the RMA. They will then send a replacement drive.

What are the steps I need to do to safely remove the drive from the Mirror and then once the new drive comes (probably 2 weeks), put it back in so it is again mirrored?

This is my first NAS, and just don't want to mess it up!

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the reply and documentation!
I have now put the drive in an offline state and removed the drive.

The TrueNAS server is now running on the single drive... I will have to send back the defective drive for them to ship me a new one.
