I just installed TrueNAS Core and as soon as I logged in there was a Critical Error reported. I'm a noob so I don't know what it means, and I don't know how to fix it. Could anyone interpret and advise?

Looks like this was a system upgrade from a previous version, not a fresh install?

Here's the hardware you described in 2018:

"My configuration:
FreeNAS 11.1 U5
ASRock Rack E3C226D2I
Xeon E3-1231 v3
16GB ECC Ram
6X Seagate 4TB NAS HDD (ST4000VN000) in RAID Z2"

What upgrade route did you follow to get to today?

I originally had FreeNAS installed, and upgraded when TrueNAS was released. Afterwards, about the second time I did a "routine" system update the whole system crashed. So I finally decided to do a totally new fresh install. And the error message is the current result. The "Critical" error mentions IPMI, but I never have used IPMI so I don't know how "critical" this error is to me. Will it cause another crash or is it something I can ignore? And if it's important how would I go about repairing?

What upgrade route did you follow to get to today? -- Like I said, a fresh install. I downloaded the latest version of TrueNAS Core, then unzipped it directly to a usb memory stick. Then I ran the install to a freshly formatted usb memory stick. It took four tries to get the installed TrueNAS running....two failures to an empty SSD, one failure to the usb; then the successful instance to the usb.
