failed plugin install leftovers?

Hey everyone... I am really excited about getting to know FreeNAS.

I have built a FreeNAS setup and installed the OS. I followed by doing several post-install configuration tasks.

I have been having poor Internet connection recently, living in a 3rd world country in Africa... So, installing plugins have failed (starting off with Plex) when the connection goes down. However, I did finally get plex installed successfully. I than attempted to create a plain empty jail in an attempt to find a way to do CLI file management(another conversation for later).

I am attaching a screen cap of what is now listed in my jails.

My question is.... are those 'jails/.warden-template-*' datasets leftovers from failed installs or do they need to be there? I can't delete them, I have tried that.

that is not a screenshot of your jails exactly, but of your datasets (some of which are jails).

as to your question. those templates are required, other jails are cloned from those datasets. so any actual jails you have are installed to datasets that are dependants of those template datasets.

Sorry, I am getting used to the idea of jails, and I am new to all things FreeNAS/BSD. I did take a snapshot of the the datasets.

Thanks, I will leave 'em be then.
