Error operation not permitted

Hi, I'm trying to install freenas from a Cd and gotten to the point where it ask where to install freenas. When I tried to choose to install to a used internal harddrive it won't install and get an error (operations not permitted) please help thanks.

I have 4 gb. The funny thing is, it work fine on flash drive but my mother board can't boot from usb :(

Well, my advice is to install to a USB stick just like is recommended in the manual. Something isn't right with your hard drive installation apparently.

And keep in mind 4GB of RAM is 1/2 of the minimum for ZFS.
