Hi, I've got an issue where people are forever having permission issues on our small FreeNAS share.
Its just a small HP Micro server running FreeNAS 9.2.1.8 and I was wondering if it were possible to create a cron job daily at say 1AM to chmod -R 777 /mnt/sharename
I realise this isn't ideal, but its small company with no need for protecting data from different users.

Thanks

It's not the proper solution but I don't see why you can't do that.

Is the problem because the users are changing the permissions or is it just when they create a new folder or file? If the latter, you can look into default file/folder masks.
