CPU temperature monitor is a really cool feature... too cool, actually

I have my first Freesnas running nicely except one minor detail. The CPU cores 0, 1 and 2 are all showing in the web interface's temp monitor as a comically low 8.65 C. I rebooted the thing into BIOS which gave a much more realistic 32. Anyone else see this kind of thing?
PS, It is an AMD A6-3500.
PPS, The hard drive temps all look realistic in the monitor, just the CPU is wacky.

I can't say mine is reading anything other than correct. Seems to match the BIOS. I'm guessing someone will chirp up and say it's cause FreeNAS doesnt like AMD but i have no honest answer.

We often see this kind of thing when the hardware is not fully supported by FreeNAS.
Hi Chris! Yes, I was just asking in a conversational way - I wouldn't expect anyone to try to figure it out on such a older CPU. The system is working great in all other respects!

Thanks. The age is probably not so much the problem though. If you move to a different system board later, almost all the Supermicro system boards should be well supported.

Here is a build list, as an example:

It doesn't need to be new hardware, just something that was a bit more commonly used in servers because that is where almost all the development time is spent.
