clone pool ada1

hello,

i have some prob with 1 drives in my freenas and i want to clone all inside to another new drive but the new drive should take the name of the defective drive

i need to tranfer all of this and keep the name, param, jail and data

is it possible ?

i heard about replication task but i don't know if it's really possible

If you have configured a storage pool on a single drive, the simplest solution would be to add a second drive as a mirror to the defective drive. This would allow the operating system to handle the operation for you. I think this is available as a menu option from the latest version of FreeNAS. I have not tried it.
