What percentage of your drive's available performance does your RAIDz1 or RAIDz2 array get..?
Eg, say your drive can R/W by itself at 2GB/s ... are you getting 10% of that ..? 50% ..? 75%..?
Eg, say you have a RAIDz2 array comprised of PM983 that get about 2GB/s R/W ...
You have 8x drives in the array ... and you get 2GB/s R/W. That means each drive is yielding about 12.5% of the performance they'd get if working alone.
Did you get better performance with AMD or Xeon ..?
Does your system provide 4 lanes per NVMe drive..?
Thanks!!
