Hey,
I set up my FreeNAS more than a year ago with two 2TB HDDs and they are nearly maxed out by now.
At the time I didn't see the value in RAIDing for data backup, but I've now decided it's something worth investing in.
I'm far from an expert and am learning everything on the go, so what I'm wondering is:
If I was to buy another 8TB storage, could I add these to the system and RAID it for data loss prevention without compromising the data I have on the existing disks. If so, is there a guide on how I would go about doing that?
