SOLVED fresh install on SSD - 11.1.U1: "This is a FreeNAS datadisk and can not boot system. System halted."
After struggling with version 11.0.U2 (web GUI would not be visible from any browser any more), I decided to do a fresh install of the latest version ... 11.1.U1 in my case. FreeNAS 11 boot disk system halted this is a data disk
FreeNAS 11 boot disk system halted this is a data disk I tried to install FreeNAS 11 on a older HP machine with 5 GB RAM and and a "No UEFI" BIOS. I got stuck at this message, re-imaged another USB stick to boot from with the same result. Any idea how to fix it? Thanks a lot- dirkme
