When to replace a HDD?
I'm administrating the server of a small charity running FreeNAS. short SMART testing indicates that one of the disks in a data mirror has some unreadable sectors: Device: /dev/ada2, 1406 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors I've seen a lot of folk opine that at this point, I should just swap...- ezekiel.incorrigible

I can't get Current Pending Sector from 1 back to 0
I'm hoping someone can help me point out what I might be doing wrong here. I tried fixing this problem with a forum post I found on this website but it didnt seem to work.
