Hi all,
I have a QNAP TVS-672XT running QTS which I'd like to install TrueNAS Scale onto.
I read posts about other models where there were issues with getting LCD and fans to work, but wasn't regarding my model.
TBH I don't care about the LCD display working, but hope someone has solution for controlling the fans as the fans at 100% (on this model) are too noisy for my office.
Questions:
1) Has anyone setup TrueNAS Scale on a TVS-x72 model? If so did you get fan controller working?
2) Any tips from people who have done this on similar QNAP models?
Specifications
NAS make: QNAP
NAS model: TVS-672XT
BIOS version: Q012AT17
CPU: Intel i3-8100T
RAM: Crucial 32mb (non-ecc) - will change to ECC if I can get system to work nicely
SSDs: x2 M.2 nvme 1TB Samsung 970 evo pro
HDDs: x5 8tb ironwolfs (spare bay so x1 spare drivebay)
PCI: QNAP QXP-T32P (thunderbolt)
Thanks for any help/advice/ideas.
