Hi
I created a Zvol to act as an ESXI datastore via ISCSI. I used the default blocksize of 8kb.
As the block size for the VMFS is 1MB, is there any benfit by switching from 8kb to 512kb (this is the maximum what FreeNAS offers)?
And another question, what is the ISCSI logical blocksize (which is 512bits by default)? Is there any benefit for increasing this value too?
Is this the value saying that the data which will be transferred is splitted in 512bits ISCSI PDUs?
Cheers
