Your boot device is having problems. Reinstall on new boot device and upload config.

Hi,

Oh, I need to reinstall FreeNAS itself from scratch and restore from backup file...

BTW, all data should be recognized by FreeNAS once I finished restoring??

Yes, the boot media is separate from your data. If you are using encryption make sure you have all your keys.

And as an extra precaution, it's nice if you have a second USB device to install on (so that you can save your original, just in case).

Hi, depasseg,

Yes, I am going to try to do that also. I've already had another USB which the same version of FreeNAS has been installed.
So I will plug it into the system and will restore from the latest config file.

Thanks for your suggestion ;)

Or better yet, since FreeNAS 9.3 supports mirrored boot devices, do the install on a pair of matching flash drives.
