Hi dear community,

I've recently wanted to switch my system from ZFSguru to Truenas 13.0 U2.
Removed the ZFSguru disk as a whole and placed a new one for truenas install.

After install which went fine. I've imported the existing pools. that seems to work fine.

Now for the ACL settings, this is where it seems to go askew.
I've create a user, with a group with the same name. Same as my windows account, including password.
Kept all the standard settings in the "add user" screen. only checked the "Microsoft Account"

I've created a new folder called "Test folder". so that should have no previous ACL rights.

So sorry, clicked the wrong button too soon. Can't seem to find an edit button? Is there an option to edit the first post? If not, please remove this thread and I'll start better.

To continue the opening post:
I've given the "Movies" the User, Group created before. Didn't forget the check marks at "apply".
ACL preset: Restricted.
since it was an existing location: Apply permissions recursively, check.
Save.

Then going to Sharing, Windows Shares (SMB). Add, added the Test Folder. voila.

Then back to my windows machine.
Add network location manually: \\[IPadres]\Movies
credentials window pops up, has my windows name; T-MonGame. add the password and get: The specified network password is not correct.

now. I assume there are some ZFSguru rights still in place. so I'll try to provide that info:
my Pool name: WD3Pool
getfacl /mnt/WD3Pool
# file: /mnt/WD3Pool
# owner: timon
# group: Timon
owner@:rwxp--aARWcCos:------:allow
group@:r- x---a- R- c-- s:------:allow
everyone@:r- x---a- R- c-- s:------:allow

getfacl /mnt/WD3Pool/Movies
# file: /mnt/WD3Pool/Movies
# owner: timon
# group: Timon
owner@:rwxpDdaARWcCos:fd-----:allow
group@:rwxpDda-ARWc--s:fd-----:allow
everyone@:--------------------:fd-----:allow

Same when I try to connect via windows / network/ double click the TRUENAS server. Asking for credentials. It has "timon" account filled in. Password entered and same error give.

Hopefully somebody has some pointers for me. Much appreciated!
