X11SSM-F boot over USB (or alternative Best Practice)

as i have been Reading on the Forum. the X11SSM-F Board would not be booting over a USB stick to install freenas.
Is there a best Practice how to install FreeNAS?

The manual has just about everything you need. Can you describe the problem a little more. What is the error, what have you tried, what did you do?

That issue was in the past before FreeNAS 9.10, (which is based on FreeBSD 10.3). The older FreeNAS 9.3
is based on FreeBSD 9 which had more limited support for USB 3.0 ports.
