Would you replace this drive?

I am on the fence about replacing this WD Red 4TB EFRX (CMR) drive.
Smart tests, both short and long are failing on two LBA's.
No other errors of significance that I am seeing.
Normally I would just replace it but seeing as CMR drives seem to be going the way of the Dodo bird, I am on the fence.
I have a cold spare on the shelf ready to go. Ran Bad blocks on it when I purchased it 18 months ago.
Here is the output from smartctl on the drive in question.
What would you do?

Code:
root@FreeNAS:~ # smartctl -x /dev/da15

I'm very risk-averse when it comes to my data; I would replace the drive if I were you.

Check and see if that drive is under warranty, you may be eligible for an RMA.

I've got another one I am on the fence about:
Would you replace this or let it go awhile and see what happens?
Pool is RaidZ2.
Interesting tidbit, I woke up yesterday to a faulted drive.
It was totally FUBAR and I replaced it.
The drive below threw some read errors during the resilver.
Gotta love the alerts in TrueNAS.
BTW, I am leaning towards just replacing this one as well but I'm curious as to what others thinks of this SMART report.

Are you concerned about the MultiZone Error Rate being = 2?

If the drive is in warranty then I would try to have it replaced under warranty. If it's not under warranty then here is how I'd recommend moving forward:

1) If the pool is mission critical (work related type stuff or just super important to you) then replace the drive because the data is more important that cost.
2) A MultiZone Error does not mean a hard drive error always, it could have occurred during a power drop for example. I try to wait until I have a few other errors like Pending Sectors or other Sector errors, but MultiZone alone can cause problems. If MultiZone count were to reach 5, that is my personal threshold, you could wait longer provided the SMART Long tests are passing. I wouldn't go into double digits, by that time you know the drive is failing if it's growing and you have no power failures. The drive could live for another year or two. But I would recommend you run a SMART Long/Extended Test once a week and a Daily SMART Short Test on the drive. Better to test often and be safer.

You could check the power connector on the suspect drive if the count increments at all. Unplug it and plug it back in, but wait for the MultiZone to increment again, this allows you to say that the power connector fixed it if the count stops increasing.

Good luck.

What is driving my concern is the alert saying a drive experienced an unrecoverable error.
And the 7 read errors it is showing. See screenshots:

What I find a little interesting is that when looking at the dashboard, MainPool shows green and healthy.
But status shows what you see above.
Seems to me the two should agree.
Bug perhaps?
I'll probably just replace it...

Run a scrub on the MainPool and see what the results are. This will tell you if the data is all intact, which I suspect it will be. If the pool comes back without errors but you still have the read errors listed, you may need to run zpool clear MainPool in order to clear the error, BUT FIRST I recommend rebooting (not a power off unless you want to) the system to see if that fixes it. I doubt it will fix it but damn, sometimes things just get fixed. Then if that don't fix it, run the command I listed above. That should fix it. Report back your results.

The hard drive itself looks fine right now. It could have been caused by the MultiZone errors or just some other anomaly (my bet is something other than the hard drive right now). If the MainPool has more of these failures then post them and the drive data as you previously did. Also think about what might have happened to your system. A power drop, you shut down the computer, you did something to TrueNAS. It could be something you did is what I'm saying, or nothing you did. Troubleshooting intermittent problems is difficult and takes time. Hopefully the problem will just go away after you issue the clear command.

Your advice was spot on joeschmuck.
Ran a scrub and it showed zero errors.
Rebooted as advised and sure enough, it cleared those read errors.
Everything looks good at this point.
I have saved that SMART report and will keep on eye on this drive going forward.

Thanks for the help!
