Hi, I'm new to the truenas world and trying to build my first nas.
My setup is
Asus P8H61-M-PRO motherboard
i7-2600 CPU
12Gb ram
Samsung 750 Evo 120GB boot drive
4x 2TB Seagate iron wolf driver
PCI-e SATA controller

I have tried installing truenas multiple times now, and all the times I get the same issue. If I install using UEFI mode it doesn't boot I only get no boot device found. If I install using bios mode it is installed and boots as it should.
Now to the problem if reboot the server after creating a pool with the 4 drives the motherboard gets stuck on the post screen. if I unplug the drives it boots normally. the only solution I found so far is to take out the drives and reformat them then redo the installation.

Can you swap the SATA ports around so the boot drive is detected first?

I'm not sure how the boot drive is connected directly to the motherboard and the HDDs are connected to the PCI-e controller

BIOS update, open support ticket with mainboard manufacturer.
