Windows VM / Plex Server

Hey Everyone,

I am not sure if this is a Plex issues or a Core Issue ... I created a VM to run Plex Media Server and Shoko Server ... Yes I know I could just install the App inside of Core but if I did that then I couldn't use Shoko Server .. They need to be on the same box ..

I got Plex Media Server installed , but nothing I do will let me "claim" the server .. So I cant get it up and running .. I found a post about it's a DNS issue , but I changed the VM dns to google and still same issue .. you click "claim" and it just spins and then errors out saying you dont have access to the server ..

Thoughts ?

What OS do you run inside that VM?

Hi Patrick,

its a windows 11 machine ...

Instersting thing is on the old media server when your in the settings screen I only see that server not the new one .. and on the new one I see both .. So I am pretty sure I got some strange network thing going on but not sure what ..
