windows stops recognizing freeNAS share

While rearranging files on my server windows explorer stops responding and I have to do a hard reset of my PC and reset the server to restablish the connection. Sometimes that doesnt work either. It seems to happen every hour or so. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Is the share mapped to a network drive?

Yes, It is. I haven't had any problems with it for the last 12-14 hours. So I don't know if the server was just having a bad day or what lol.

The problem has once again popped up. I'm finding FreeNAS to be unreliable, yet my friend set his box up the exact same as mine and had no problems.
